Ivana Koubek
Ivana Koubek (born 1959 in Aussig) is a Czech freelance artist who has lived in Regensburg since 1988. After the technical college for glass art in Eisenbrod, she studied in Prague with the academic painter Prof. Jan Smetana. Numerous exhibitions in Germany and the Czech Republic followed. Her artistic activities focus on painting, drawing and book illustration. They impress with their thematic variety and technically excellent execution. Posters with Dultmaus, for Regensburg's UNESCO World Heritage Site, cultural days and citizens' festival are among the most popular. Koubek is currently working on the Famous Female Figures collection for Goebel Porzellan.
