Belle lives in a quiet village and has a somewhat strange inventor to her father. She cleverly repels Schönling Gaston's advances and prefers to stick her nose in books. But then her father is captured by a terrible monster who lives in an enchanted castle. To save the inventor, Belle offers her life in exchange for her father's. As a prisoner, she must move to the spooky castle, where she discovers that there is a curse not only on the walls, but also on the inhabitants.
