One of his pictures gave the art direction the name to which we owe the most beautiful landscape paintings in history: Impressionism. Claude Monet (1840-1926) loved to paint in the open air. Like no other, he succeeded in capturing the magic of the moment in his pictures and capturing it on canvas forever: the play of the sun's rays on reflective water surfaces, light and shadow in the trees or the bright colors of a summer garden.
